By accessing and using 16Kinks ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

Nature of the service

16Kinks provides an educational self-assessment tool based on a structured framework for understanding BDSM preferences. The test and its results are for entertainment and self-exploration purposes only.

16Kinks is not a clinical diagnostic tool, therapy service, or medical device. Results should not be interpreted as psychological diagnoses, medical advice, or prescriptions for behavior.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher — to use this Site. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

User conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the test content
• Misrepresent 16Kinks results as clinical assessments
• Use the Site to harass, pressure, or label others without their consent

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the test framework, type descriptions, design, and branding — is the intellectual property of 16Kinks. You may share your personal results, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without written permission.

Payments and refunds

Taking the test and viewing the free summary is free. Unlocking the full report is an optional one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Unlocking is tied to your account and grants permanent access to the full report for that account, including future updates to it.

If there's a problem with your purchase, email support@16kinks.com within 7 days of your purchase and we'll help put it right, including a refund where appropriate. Refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 10 business days.

If a technical problem prevented your access after payment, or you were charged in error, contact us and we'll make it right. Please reach out before disputing a charge with your bank so we can resolve it directly. You also keep any statutory refund or cancellation rights that apply where you live. If we ever discontinue the paid feature entirely, recent purchasers may be eligible for a refund.

Consent and safety

16Kinks promotes informed, consensual exploration. The Site does not endorse any activity without the explicit, ongoing consent of all parties involved. Users are solely responsible for how they apply any information from this Site.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any results or content.

Limitation of liability

16Kinks shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

Language

These Terms are provided in several languages for convenience. If there is any inconsistency between versions, the English version governs.
